"The Creature was about 8FT TALL" (BIG FOOT)

I can't help but think about the encounter that my father had years ago.

It was around 4:30 am, when my dad was leaving for work. He suddenly froze in the doorway, my mom wondered if he had forgotten something.

Dad spoke in a low voice, "Carol, shut the door and go get my garn." My dad didn't leave for work that morning, but instead sat with his shotgun in the living room by the window, facing the woods, for the rest of the day.

We weren't allowed to go outside and dad wouldn't tell us why. This was the first time i had ever seen fear in my dads eyes.

I overheard my dad explaining that he saw a creature through the windows of our minivan. It towered 3 feet over our vehicle, making it about eight feet tall.

It was covered in hair, but had a face of a man in a lot of ways. My dad could barely get the words out, but he finally said it: "It was a Bigfoot."

Even now, years later, my dad refuses to talk about it. I can't help but wonder if there are other creatures out there that we don't know about.
