More bullshit from attorney Jesse Jones. Yes Jesse Jones and YOU are helping to keep it rigged in Harnett County. I also have an out of context response letter just like that from the NC Department of Justice and Attorney General's Office from the same individual Trachtman from 2020 which didn’t even address what I had written to them about in the first place. Attorney General John Josh Stein controls North Carolina Sheriff’s Training and Standards which means yes he does have power over this issue and at the very minimum he clearly does have the authority to revoke the law enforcement certification for corrupt deputies like John C. Knight, Nicholas Kehagias, John Clark, etc.

Yeah yeah yeah Jesse Jones I also got a nonsensical out of context and untrue response from Trachtman in the NC DOJ’s office as well back in 2020 from Attorney General Josh Stein’s office. Mine was also bullshit and was a totally out of context response. It was an actual letter like yours and as an attorney you should be calling out legally why it’s bullshit. There is nothing in NC law that prohibits the NC Attorney General from investigating, in fact the opposite. It’s obviously part of his job he controls NC Sheriff’s Training and Standards as well as the NC SBI. Josh Stein darn well can get involved and there is nothing in the law that prevents him from doing that. Call that out Jesse Jones you’re the attorney not me.
