I really enjoyed this. An early favorite lyric: "Everybody hit the floor with your nose/Let me introduce you to your shadow" -- loving your gritty voice and the drumbeat.

Like the set up and your voice really gives the story a true feeling. The wavering/echoing part was a great touch. And somehow one wonders if he'll really get out on no bail or maybe he'll have to pay in a different way. #tit4tat2

this is a provocative song, it gives the listener an experience that may make them question their own comfort zones. the music pushes you prone into your chair and the words sneak right up in your face. there is no threat, only a peaceful relaxation that could explode at any moment.

There is a sadness and darkness that reaches deep with the evocative vulnerability that comes through in your vocals… especially in that last verse. Really awesome sound. Great guitar and cool percussion. Haunting.

Very nice acoustic guitar playing here. The music is Smooth but the lyric has a real Edge to it. The percussive backing is cool and different with the creative FX used here. #tit4tat2

First it sounded folky with a nice electronic backing and it worked really well. Lyrics are really wonderful, poetic but still tell a story. Catchy chorus. But the third verse, oh man, the way the music swells and the intensity grows, that was surprising and quite impressive. Great stuff!

I wrote and recorded this song over the course of February 1 and 2. The event that inspired the initial idea was a news story where I watched a guy who was caught robbing banks look at the TV cameras and yell, "I'll be out in 24 hours."

Really evocative lyrics. The instrumentation really benefits from its simplicity. If I had to pick something to advise on - consider increasing the pre-delay on your reverb if you have access to that function. It lets the vocals through cleanly followed by the reverb, which gives a better sense of space.
