Dr. Patton claims that normally, when applying vaccine, they are injected directly into the muscle (IM). This takes a few extra seconds as the needle needs to be inserted, then withdrawn a tiny amount. However, the CDC has, instead, stated that they can be inserted either into the muscle (IM) or into the vein (IV). She claims that a dosage created for IM is typically higher than that for IV, and this could lead to potential overdoses.
