In this video I build a custom media center with a sliding shelf on drawer slides to house our AV system. The cabinets has fully hidden hinges that allow the door to swing out of the way and the drawer to open unhindered. The drawer holds a computer to run the projector and room stereo system.
The cabinet is constructed using 3/4" edge banded plywood and the joinery is completed using pocket holes. It is finished with ebony shade oil based minwax stain and sealed with varathane water based polyurethane applied using a HVLP spray gun.
