Durango to Silverton Train Ride

The year is 2020 in the height of the Covid craziness, we had this trip planned to visit my mother Audrey Haberli Hembel who now lives in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This is how we spent one of our days in Colorado, this original 1882 steam locomotive, it was a great ride, we got to see beautiful sights of the San Juan National Forest, train bridges, rock slides, huge rock bluffs, & the beautiful Animas River as it winds through the mountains.
