Manhattan DA Tells Trump Grand Jury to Stay Home Wednesday

According to two sources familiar with the matter, the grand jury weighing potential charges against former President Donald Trump has been told to stay home Wednesday instead of reconvening as planned by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, NBC 4 New York has reported.

The reason for this delay is unclear, but it’s possible that it involves another potential witness to be heard. On Monday, the grand jury heard from Trump ally Robert Costello, who sought to discredit the prosecution’s key witness: former fixer and personal attorney Michael Cohen.

They were originally scheduled to reconvene on Wednesday afternoon, but now they have been asked to be on standby for Thursday. Bragg’s office declined to comment on the matter later in the day, citing its policy of not speaking on grand jury matters.
