Bro Jesse Trumble reveals Bible truths about salvation and our new life in Christ, lived out daily, in practical terms.

The Book of Romans teaches about our need of Christ, our standing in Christ, and our life in Christ.
Here we have teaching on practical Christian Living.

We are justified - which means we are made right with God. Romans 8:1 - There is thou therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit.
This is how God looks at us. He looks at us and He sees no sin. We have freedom - from doubt, and from bondage.

Paul tells how, in my flesh dwelleth no good thing - for to will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not, but the evil which I would not that I do. There's a conflict going on - between the spirit - the inward man - and the flesh, the old nature. The two are warring. This is the reality of life as a Christian.

I delight in the law of God after the inward man… yet the fight goes on with the flesh - and it can seem like the battle is impossible. But through our Lord Jesus Christ we have victory.

The Word tells us of the Spirit-filled walk , the Spirit-filled mind, dwelling in the Spirit, and being empowered by the Spirit. This is the internal motivation – as we are full of the Spirit of God. And so we walk now in the spirit.

Our Lord broke sin’s power. We now have victory in our own lives. God provides righteousness. The grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts we should live soberly righteously and godly in this present world, looking for the Blessed hope and glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people zealous of good works.

To be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. When you live a life that is pleasing to God it has that sweet savour about it.

He has given us the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba Father. He has made us children of God, a peculiar people. There is no condemnation in Christ.
