United Cabbie refuses my fare mid ride in a -28 C night (-18.4 F) when he's picked me up.

On Dec 17 2022, at 9:45 pm, United Calgary Cab Driver (car #1056) picked me up at home. I was headed to Mid town Co-oP for a couple items and straight back home. I've taken this ride many times, a couple with this company. On the way I explained my plan. The cabbie told me he 'didn't like to wait' I told him I didn't either but I was PAYING him to do so. The store closed at 10 pm, it's -28 Degrees and wore a simple hoodie knowing I would stay warm. LIttle did I know. The cabbie refused my fare but called dispatch and told them I refused to pay. This is the conversion I recorded with him after being screwed by too many cabbies. I found this out calling for a car to come home and was told I was blocked, A 3rd call in and I found out why. United said they'd send a car but I ended up walking home after waiting for about 10 minutes as my cell phone froze and I couldn't use it any more. I was SO upset and froze to the bone, it took me until the next day to thaw out. Hope Colleen gets to hear this soon!
