1 Thessalonians: The Church and the Coming Lord—More Characteristics of Gospel Ministry, 2:9-20

Today we are finishing chapter two of 1 Thessalonians. In this section of the letter, Paul is describing how he and his team ministered to the Thessalonians (and in general, as well).
This is not just a description, it is really a blueprint for the church to follow. In both chapters one and two, Paul mentions that the Thessalonians imitated (Greek mimetai, patterned themselves after) Godly ministers.
For sake of time, we broke this passage into two sermons, but Paul’s point is still the same: "This is how we ministered to you, and its how you should minister to others."
