Iran Slams France For Violence Against Protesters, Cites ‘Double Standards’
Heavy-handed police quashed Monday protests against pension reform in Paris.
The clashes in the French capital evoked concerns about police brutality and have not gone unnoticed. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has spoken out against the disturbing events, saying that such a heavy-handed approach to protesters violates the principles of democracy.
