Mark 6:31 New King James Version
31 And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.

GOOD EVENING IN THE MATCHLESS NAME OF YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
Please allow me to ask these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they encourage you to be honest with yourself, and willing to, with God's help, make changes in your priorities, as well as with yourself.

How would you assess the balance in your life between work and rest?

What I'd like to do with all of you right now, my friends, they share some things that God showed me from his word on this issue, on what it means to take time for yourself, and rest, so that you can be recharged not just physically, but also spiritually. Come join me in this blog tonight my friends and learn the value, and the importance of taking time to rest! 😊

So, my friends, as I closed this post with all of you tonight, I wanna leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will get you thinking about how important it is to take time to rest for yourself.

When and how might you pause each day to reflect on God’s example of rhythm and rest?

I don't know about you guys, but my prayer is that God shows me different ways that I can make the time to rest and recharge myself. I know for me, I love to take time in the mornings by myself, as well as with Ricky, to read God's word, and that very much gives me the spiritual recharge I need. However, I also need to make sure that I physically relax, and just take time to as the old saying goes “smell the roses”.

My prayer for all of you guys, is that you take the time to relax, rest, and allow God to recharge you each day. Take some time out each day, to just relax and not do anything. To maybe go outside and take time to enjoy God's creation, get your family together, and if it's warm enough, go to a park and have a cookout. Whatever you choose to do to relax, go for it, because it will be one of the best things that you can do. Above all, ask God to show you ways in which you can recharge yourself, so that you can make sure that you're physically, mentally, and emotionally ready to face every day that you're given. Trust me, when I tell you, that if you just continue going and going and going, you're gonna wind up burnt out in more ways than one and you don't want that. Remember guys, that God does order our lives not just for work, but also rest, so don't be afraid to take advantage of both!

UNTIL THURSDAY EVERYONE:

HAVE A BLISSFULLY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
