Should new lawyers or law firms join rocketlawyer?

If your law firm has considered joining RocketLawyer.com this video review may help you make your decision. I have been on their website for a while now and this video shares my general thoughts. One of the most important issues is the indemnification issue. Others are the requirements to reduce your fees and provide free consultations and document reviews.

For some small firms this may be the "rainmaker" idea of the century, for me, the jury is still out, but they do offer a very interesting service to their members.

One of the other questions I have about RocketLawyer is whether I am building their brand or my law firm brand. We will wait and see how this plays out.

At the very least, lawyers need to think about providing valuable services at fair and honest prices to their clients. Individuals, entertainers and small businesses need legal services but they cannot afford to be tripled our double billed and they need hi-quality low cost legal representation. Be moving your law firm in that direction and you can beat the crowd there. The days of the stuffy old lawfirm are coming to an end in my opinion.

With Rocketlawyer members pay a monthly fee to get access to the lawyers, with our business and civil litigation firm (unlike ZoomLegal) WE ARE A LAW FIRM AND WE DO GIVE LEGAL ADVICE. With these other companies you get referred out to a lawyer.
