Undercover software agents on the internet?

Do you have the right to resell software on the internet or at a garage sale? If you are the OWNER of something, generally that means you have the legal right to sell it and transfer title to a third party buyer. However, if you are a LICENSEE, there may be some restrictions on what you can and cannot do.
