RT Russia will ‘react accordingly’ if UK sends depleted uranium ammo to Ukraine – Putin

The UK has announced that it will supply Ukraine with toxic, uranium-laden ammunition – known for turning former combat zones into uninhabitable wastelands.

Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the issue during an address alongside his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, stating that Moscow will ‘react accordingly based on the fact that the collective West is beginning to use weapons with a nuclear component.’

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova also commented on the issue, stressing that such weapons would inflict ‘incomparable damage’ not only for today’s generation, but also for future ones.
