UPDATE: A More Elegant Trigram Model (!!)

A refinement to the basic trigram theory upon which this edifice rests. Basically I'm eliminating time from the equation - it becomes too confusing and the model presented here does a better job without sacrificing much. I look forward to hearing your thoughts regarding this change!
