Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Ephesians urges us to "be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power." (Ephesians 6:10) This is not a suggestion, but a commandment from God for us to rely on His strength rather than our own. The Bible teaches us that we are in a constant spiritual battle and that we need to use the tools and armor that God has given us to stand firm against the attacks of the devil.

We cannot rely on our own strength or wisdom to win this battle, but like David when he faced Goliath, we must trust in the Lord who is able to deliver us from every trial and difficulty we face. Paul exhorts us to be "strong in the Lord and in his mighty power" because he knows that we cannot fight this battle on our own. The enemy is too strong, too cunning, and too relentless for us to face in our own strength.

To remind us of the importance of relying on God, Paul tells us to "put on the full armor of God." (Ephesians 6:11) God has given us everything we need to stand firm against the enemy. We must put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. We must use this armor to protect ourselves and to fight back against the enemy.

Paul also urges us to pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, and to stay alert and always be persistent in our prayers for all God's people. Through prayer, we can draw on God's power and seek His protection and guidance. By staying alert and persistent in prayer, we can resist temptation and overcome the temptations that come our way.

In conclusion, the Apostle Paul's teaching reminds us that we cannot fight this battle alone or in our own strength, but we must rely on the Lord and on His armor to guide and protect us. We must pray and be vigilant in our spiritual battles. God has given us incredible resources for our defense and offense, and we must make good use of them. Whenever we face obstacles or problems, let us always turn to the Lord for His strength, guidance, and protection. Remember that with God on our side, we can face anything that comes our way with confidence and courage. Amen.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints, and pray in my behalf, that speech may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
