It is time to TEAR down our old deck that had so many thing about it that I didn't like and who doesn't want a bigger deck? In this how to DIY video we will be demoing the old deck and pergola, laying out the new deck (which is quite a bit larger), augering the post holes, installing the posts which are a combination of 4x4 and 4x6, layering 6A gravel under the deck to prevent vegetation growth, installing and leveling the beams and mounting the rim joists.
