We all see the way the supply chain has been these last few years. Personally, I have not been able to purchase chicken breasts at the grocery store on more than a few occasions and even today the amount you can get is limited and, obviously, more expensive than in the past. We decided to take the supply chain out of the picture and give some meat chickens a try.

This chicken tractor is made from reclaimed cedar 2x6 boards that were from the old deck that we tore down about a year ago. Would I use 2x6 typically, no, but it was free and available! This chicken coop is 12x6 feet making it big enough to raise roughly 36 meat chickens.
