BC Government announces next phase in their 15 minute city program

The British Columbia government has announced plans to install more cell phone coverage (read more cell connections for those on the Telus network). At first glance sounds like a benefit to residents, until one realises this is one more step in what could be a tracking system to track residents as they move about the province. It is also reasonable to assume that ultimately it will be used to control and prevent residents from travelling outside their designated areas in the style of the threatened 15 minute cities
