Uncle Bucks Corner - Cement Countertop Pour
The video is a DIY project by Uncle Buck, who is pouring a cement countertop in his kitchen. The project involves moving an army truck so that the countertop can be poured. Uncle Buck mixes mortar mix, flow control and tools, and then sets the mold in place for the countertop. He levels the truck and sprays the boxes with WD-40 to make it easier to remove them later. Uncle Buck checks the mold's level and square, and pours the mortar mix into the mold. However, the mold floats, and Uncle Buck must hold it down. Afterward, Uncle Buck realizes he has not bought enough mortar mix and decides to go to Home Depot to buy more. The video ends with Uncle Buck grinding down the countertop after he accidentally gouges it with his trowel. He is pleased with the final result and plans to put sealer on it to protect it.
