Words/Phrases that confused me:
"Gantrees Whare the stan"
Maybe: Gantrys (wine barrel frames) where they stand?
"down by her gare" : Maybe "down by her skirt"?
Mary: used here for Maid

So my take is that the daughter fakes a hangover and asks to go out and pick a herbal remedy from the woods in order to sneak her lover out dressed as a maid. She must have had a sizeable dress on to hide bow, arrows and a sword!
