Japan's PM Fumio Kishida meets Ukraine's President Zelensky in Kyiv

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is making a surprise trip to Kyiv to meet with President Volodymr Zelensky.

The visit is the first time a Japanese PM has visited a country with ongoing fighting since World War II.

It comes as Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin begin a second day of talks as part of a state visit to Moscow.
