MZTV 1173: Did the Witch of Endor Really "Bring Up" Samuel?

When things start falling apart politically for not-so-illustrious king Saul of Israel, he visits a medium in the city of Endor (a witch by trade) to seek advice from the great prophet Samuel who was—um—dead at the time. But no matter! Apparently King Saul believed Satan's first lie in the Garden of Eden, that there is no such thing as death.

Astonishingly, being anxious themselves to latch onto Satan's anti-truth, Christians will cite this account as "proof" that the dead are actually alive—never mind the consistent Scriptural testimony by men under the influence of the holy spirit of God that death is the absence of life.

The Enchantress of Endor "brings up" Samuel for the king of Israel. Or does she?
