Digimon Ghost Game Episode 66: The Black Dragon of Destruction - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of Digimon Ghost Game Episode 66! After a two week hiatus, Digimon Ghost Game has returned with the second to last episode of the series. For as great as many of the things that happened in this episode were, I can't help but wonder if it would have been even better if it were spaced out over two or even three episodes. It starts with our heroes facing off against BloomLordmon only for them to be utterly humiliated in a matter of seconds. Gammamon has an internal struggle with GulusGammamon, reminiscent of Hollow Ichigo from Bleach, and then GulusGammamon emerges while also digivolving into Regulusmon. Such a badass design and entrance! Hiro uses his quick whits to help Canoweissmon separate from Regulusmon as BloomLordmon joins the heroes in their struggle against Regulusmon. While all of this is going on, it periodically cuts to Hokuto, the kids, and the other friendly Digimon in the human world protecting the citizens from evil Digimon. The episode ends with Siriusmon seemingly being killed by Regulusmon as he cackles while Hiro looks on in distress. Again, lots of interesting events played out, but I feel like it went by way too fast. I have no idea how they are going to resolve everything next week, but I guess we shall see.
