The House Judiciary Committee wants Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to appear before Congress about his "extraordinary abuse of prosecutorial authority" as he contemplates indicting former President Trump for alleged hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

If allegations of a Trump indictment are true, Jordan warned Bragg that his actions "would damage confidence in the evenhanded application of law and unalterably intervene in the court of the 2024 presidential election."
