Hillsborough County Children's Services raising awareness for National Safe Place Week

It’s National Safe Place Week and Hillsborough County Children’s Services wants to remind kids and teens that they can receive immediate help in a crisis. “We need to let people know that kids don’t have to be on the street. There is a safe place for them to go. There’s some people out there that’s going to be willing to help them. This service is 100% free. In crisis, you just need to know how to get to a place fast,” said Nikki Martin, Quality Assurance Manager for Hillsborough County Children’s Services.
