We have a concept for a fun and educational tourist attraction that would encourage families with neurodivergent kids to visit Hot Springs, specifically kids with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and other mental challenges. It would also be a great way for kids and adults in wheelchairs (like myself) to be able to exercise while having fun and seeing the sights of the town.

Our concept is similar to a hiking trail or the baseball "trail" in town, but combined with the concept of the "junior ranger" programs present in many of our nation's national parks. Our concept is for simple games that kids and families can play together at 50-100 small businesses around town. For example, here are a few pictures to illustrate.

The first image attached is a sample "treasure hunting kit" that we are working on being able to offer, free of charge, at local hotels and airbnbs when guests check in. It would contain approximately $1048 in gifts from our sponsors, including 10 educational video games on cd format, as well as a map of the city, coupons, educational dice for playing board games, and a magnifying glass for searching for diamonds at the crater of diamonds, or simply observing the interesting natural landscape and insects around this area.

We estimate that the startup costs, including marketing, will be around $28,000. Our charity, Donate by Mail, would be happy to provide this service to the city / park at no cost, because we have spoken with our major donors and they have agreed to cover those costs, no issue.
