Just a couple of years ago a lot of people would of counted Machine Gun Kelly as on the way out. He got in the industry as the old guard were losing their grasp to the internet and new up and comers were making big moves via the internet. In his Rap Devil diss track he picked his side as a member of the rumble rap generation and bagged a few high profile baddies reminding us he's enjoying the perks of his new found fame. From his humble beginnings in Cleveland, to selling out venues across the U.S. and creating four top-ten billboard albums, MGK has blazed a path for himself in the world of hip-hop but he’s always worn his rock influences right on his sleeve. His live shows often feel more like a rock show than a hip-hop showcase with obligatory mosh-pits and a full band performing on stage.
