After Pop Smoke would arrive on the scene in a big way making a big buzz in 2019 and was geared up to dominate 2020 and more. After clocking in 2.5 Million followers on Instagram, 1.6 Million on Instagram, 130K on Twitter and would amass over 2 Billion streams worldwide prior to his untimely passing.
After a Pop Smoke Hologram would be created in Paris allowing the late rapper to give one last public performance from beyond the grave. He had been christened “Brooklyn Raps Homecoming King” by The New York Times but the the passing of Pop Smoke was a monumental loss to the world of music and hip hop in particular. Loss of life has become all to frequent an occurrence and with many young established names leaving us far, far too early it's a hard pill to swallow when an up and comer showcasing tons of talent doesn't even get to reach the full height of his potential before his life is taken. His passing occurred in the Hollywood Hills during the early house of February 19th of this year. Just recently, 4 months after authorities have been able to apprehend the 4 suspects responsible ages 19, 18, 17 and 15 and the motive of a robbery.
