The Manhattan DA explicitly *campaigned* on investigating Trump. This is a textbook case of politicizing prosecutorial power. The argument that Trump shouldn’t be “above the law” is a straw man: the only reason the DA is even considering this case is *because* it’s Trump. This shouldn’t be about the person. It’s about principle. I pray for our country that the DA does the right thing here & drops this.
