My name is Angela, and I am a former public school teacher that left to unschool my own kids and to inspire other parents to do the same. After leaving the classroom in 2021, I wrote and published Tales of a Toxic Teacher: Exposing the Cycles of Abuse within our Schools. In this book, I expose the ways that I (and every other teacher) was forced to become a "toxic teacher" because of the "toxic educational system" that we work in.

I could no longer continue to be a cog in the wheel for a system that is causing so much harm to children (and teachers). We all deserve better than force and threats and coercion.
