In today's video, we're taking about Prince William County, Virginia, Supervisor Yesli Vega, who continues to push back against DEI.

Read an email from a county employee who said a DEI survey was "OFFENSIVE AND OUTRAGEOUS."

Saying the survey demanded to know the sexual orientation of employees,

There was no way to mark not applicable or not important.

Said other employees are concerned.

Vega encouraged others to contact her via email "if you do not wish to tell the county's office of equity and inclusion which you're having sex with."

Earlier this month, first on PLN, Vega made public information about the 21-question survey.

Part of a $115,000 DEI audit of the county

Findings will be presented this summer.

The DEI office was established in 2020
VEGA has long called to abolish the office

Vega was elected the same year to serve the Coles district. She has not announced plans to seek reelection to the seat.

VEGA was the Republican candidate who ran for Virginia's 11th congressional seat in eastern Prince William County, Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Spotsylvania, among others, who lost to Abigail Spanberger, who is now seeing a third term in the seat.
