EVICTION: TENANT OWES $16,500!

Las Vegas, NV: Here’s an eviction from a few days ago after going to court for over a year! This tenant only paid $164 out of pocket and after the first month, completely stopped paying the rent. Nevada has let renters completely screw landlords and owners of property by letting them not pay rent when people still have to pay the mortgage on the property. After a year, this owner is out thousands and thousands of dollars that they will never recover, plus all of the damage this tenant left, all of the belongings that has to be cleared out and paid for as well. Can you imagine saving your money, buying a rental property, paying the mortgage and finally getting a renter in the home for them to quit paying the rent and not being able to evict them for over a year & you have to keep paying the loan or lose the home?!
