Unboxing and Review of the Grizzly G8027 1HP Dust Collector. I was driving by the Grizzly store in Missouri and decided to stop in. I was needing a dust collector for my wood shop and after talking to the sales associate I decided to purchase the Grizzly G8027 1HP Dust Collector. My reason to purchase this model was that I needed something better than my shopvac cyclone to collect dust. After packing the box in my mini van I drove home. Arriving home I began the unboxing.

I have to say I like how it performs and I give it an 8 out of 10. I am however very disappointed with the assembly of all the parts and pieces. I was missing 4 screw to attach the motor to the base stand as well as 2 screws that held up the bag assembly. I also ended up missing 1 bold and 1 screw to attach the top of the assembly to the base rod. All this is shown in the video.

So would I recommend this to a friend. The answer is yes with caution. Be sure to check if all your parts are in the box. I am going to reach out to Grizzly to see what they can do for me. I will keep you posted and will update you on their response.
