How To Make A Painting and Build A Narrow Wooden Frame | Art and Woodworking Project

How I painted and made a narrow wooden frame that I could have purchased a $60 landscape painting @Target but I decided to spend $100 to make a real painting. It all stated when my wife saw a landscape painting at target and she wanted it for our home. I looked at it and said it isn't a painting it is a print and the frame is made of plastic that looks like wood. I can't have that in my home I am a woodworker and artist. So I decided I would replicate the painting as best as I could and put a real solid white oak frame around the painting. Let me know if you like my version or the store version better. I also want to know if anyone has a better way of making the wooden frame around the painting. Oh and thank you @Bob Ross and @Bob Vila this project is dedicated to you!
