STOP Using Wood Putty Right NOW! Here is Why. | Woodworking Tips and Tricks

I have been using wood putty for years and I am telling you to stop using it right now. There are many reasons why. But first let me start by telling you this is based on my years of woodworking and experience with wood putty. I have finally just gotten tired of it and its issues. See wood putty doesn't truly fill the holes and gaps and have the longevity I need it to have in my projects. Now that isn't saying you should git rid of it all together. There are some use cases for it but I have discovered that it is about 10% of my projects would benefit from wood putty. There is a much better solution and product to use over wood putty and that is epoxy putty. Epoxy putty is more expensive but it will save you a lot of time and frustration that wood putty offers. Epoxy doesn't crack, it doesn't sag, it is super strong and sands smooth.
