Goldberg vs Veer Mahaan with Jinder Mahal at Wrestlemania 39. Goldberg was recently looking for a retirement match at WM39. At first I couldn't think of an opponent for Goldberg, so my first WWE 2K23 match was Goldberg vs Kane. I wasn't too happy with that match as a retirement match, so I started thinking about what would actually make more sense IRL. I remembered Veer was sent back to NXT, LOL! Veer with Jinder would make the perfect opponent for Goldberg! It could be a quick feud where Goldberg would come out and announce his retirement only to be interrupted by Jinder and Veer. Jinder could say Goldberg best retire because he's no where near as unstoppable as he was in the past! Veer could point out how Goldberg is on the way out with a losing streak and if he knows what's best for him he best get out of the ring and out of the business because Veer Mahaan would rip him to shreads! Veer could get in his face, strike him only for Goldberg to hit the ropes and run him over with a spear! The match at WM39 could be a quick squash of Veer with more than just the spear and jackhammer used by Goldberg. This could leave the audience wondering if Goldberg really shouldn't be retiring but instead starting a new win streak! To me this would be an awesome way to book a retirment match for Goldberg. IMO he deserves a W at WM39 because he fulfilled his contract and helped WWE put over new talent in the process.
