The Solar Christ Stream

In Occult Science the sun and earth cannot be separated. They are of the same substance and are directly linked spiritually. The sun is the source of earth's evolutionary impulse, or the Christ Impulse, providing forces of regeneration, preservation and transformation.

Looking deeper, we can also observe that the sun, as part of its own evolution through the spiritual hierarchies, personifies into 7 great Solar Spirits, or Solar Fathers. They have been called many names such as the Kumaras, Rishis, Elohim, Spirits of Light, and the Solar Fathers. They are represented as an important part of every Mystery Tradition.

When it comes to the evolution of consciousness there is something very important that must be grasped, which is that these Solar Fathers, these great solar initiates, enter into human form to bring the Solar Christ Impulse into the earth and into the human being at specific phases of development. The pattern of their incarnation and sacrifice makes up the pattern of human initiation and religion on earth. At our level of deep materiality, no cosmic force can be known unless it personifies, or takes human form.
