EzDubs.ai - PC-Engine Zero Wing cutscenes - Japanese to English

I was always curious about the plot of this one, since it's... clearly different from the arcade and Mega drive versions. And, indeed, there is not a trace of "Somebody set up us the bomb" or "All your base are belong to us" in sight.

None of the cutscene dialog is properly synced because lol EzDubs.

I wonder why the plot was rewritten this way?
