Got out and fished the second event of the Mobile Bay Kayak Fishing Association Championship Trail. The Burgett Minimalist Challege. This is a really fun event where everyone is given the same 4 pack of lures to use, can only fish with one rod, and have to launch off Ft. Morgan Road in Gulf Shores.

We headed out during a major cold front bringing massive temperature drops and 20-30 mph north winds. I decided to fish Little Lagoon to be protected from the winds. The fishing was tough to say the least!
