I preview the 5th race of 2023 at Atlanta Motor Speedway! I Break down the drivers, no practice, qualifying and stats for Sunday's Race.

Late night edition, due to son's baseball tournament starting at 9am and going till after green flag. So here is my breakdown late at night. Come enjoy a beverage with me.

Atlanta is still acting a lot like a Super Speedway (Daytona and Dega) but the track is starting to weather and handling is becoming more of a factor. I think by next year we will not be considering this a major drafting track. We saw very loose race cars/trucks today also cars spinning on their own in qualifying. We will still see pack racing but we will have some separation in the field, may cut down on the "Big One". But think we will see the drivers and crews that hit on the setup run better. Tire wear will also be more of a factor than last year or what we see at the Super Speedways.

Will Hendrick cars still dominate? Will Fords be as fast as they were in practice? Where did the Toyota speed go? Things to think about while setting up your lineups.
