"Kimetsu no Yaiba - Demon Slayer" that has made anime fans around the world crazy. From February 2016 to May 2020, this is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump," which represents Japanese manga.

The story takes place in the Taisho Era in Japan. It is a story about a boy, Tanjiro Kamado, who fights against demons with his friends in order to restore his sister, Nezuko Kamado, who has turned into a demon due to the aftereffects of an attack by a demon, to her original form. After a special screening in limited theaters in March 2019, "Kimetsu no Yaiba : Kamado Tanjiro Risshi-hen" was broadcast on TV from April to September in 2019. The popularity soared with each installment, partly due to the influence of online distribution of the anime.

In October 2020, "Kimetsu no Yaiba : Mugen-ressha hen" was screened in movie theaters nationwide, and its box-office revenue in Japan exceeded 40.4 billion yen. It surpassed the record set by the animated feature film "Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi - Spirited Away," which was the No. 1 box office hit in Japan for almost 20 years since 2001, grossing 31.68 billion yen.

According to the official fan book "Kisatsutai Kenbunroku" July 14 is the birthday of the main character, Tanjiro Kammon. This month's song is " Kamado Tanjiro no uta - Tanjiro Kamado's Song. Amidst the bleak battle scenes, this song is a beautiful reminder of a peaceful time. I tried to express the feelings of Tanjiro's mother, Kie Kamado, who is said to be from Saga Prefecture, toward her son Tanjiro.

　日本のみならず世界のアニメファンを夢中にさせた｢鬼滅の刃｣。平成28(2016)年2月から令和2(2020)年5月まで日本の少年漫画を代表する｢週間少年ジャンプ｣で発表された連載漫画です。
舞台は日本の大正時代。鬼に襲われた後遺症で鬼化した妹 竈門禰豆子を元の姿に戻すため、主人公 竈門丹治郎少年が仲間と共に鬼と戦う物語です。
　平成31(2019)年3月に限定劇場でTVアニメ予告編が特別上映された後、平成31(2019)年4月から令和元(2019)年9月まで｢鬼滅の刃 竈門炭治郎 立志編｣がTV放映されました。動画のネット配信の影響もあり、回を増すごとに人気が沸騰。
令和2(2020)年10月に｢鬼滅の刃 無限列車編｣が全国の映画館で上映され、日本での興行収入が404億円を超えました。平成13(2001)年以降、国内興行収入316.8億円を記録し、約20年間も日本での興行収入首位を保っていた劇場版アニメ｢千と千尋の神隠し｣を超える快挙となりました。
公式ファンブック｢鬼殺隊見聞録｣によれば、7月14日は主人公 竈門丹治郎の誕生日です。今月の曲は｢竈門丹治郎のうた｣。殺伐とした戦闘シーンが続く中、この曲は平和だった時代を思い起こさせる美しい曲です。今回は、佐賀県出身と噂される丹次郎の母 竈門葵枝(かまど きえ)が息子 丹治郎に寄せる心情を表現してみました。
遊郭を舞台とした令和3(2021)年12月から令和4(2022)年2月に放映されたTVアニメ｢鬼滅の刃 遊郭編｣も好評でした。アニメ｢鬼滅の刃｣で推しの登場人物は誰ですか？
