The line to the Sanctuary of the Sacred Blade is too long, so we go the other way to get in by showing the knight Alisha's knife. There, Alisha makes a ceremonial prayer before an angry man in the crowd turns into a hellion and sets the place on fire. Sorey pulls up the sacred blade and then he & Lailah fight off the hellions.
