Jaguar E-Type S1... Did I EVER mess up! Gasket on backwards and Zero oil pressure. It worked out?

I never dreamed this would be so hard but I did it to myself and maybe this will help others. Just wanted to make sure the oil pressure was correct so I pulled the OEM system off and I am very happy I did but hit a few problems. AutoMeter gauge is very nice and I feel much better about the whole thing but what a foul up and I'm sure I have not been the first.
