Receiving the Call from Jesus

Paul reminds the Galatian church that the gospel he received is not from man, but from Jesus Himself. He received the revelation on the road to Damascus, which changed Paul’s life forever. If Paula was not obedient to Christ and faithful to understand His call, he would not have been able to do the work God has called him to do. In turn we would not have the 26 books of the New Testament that we have today. Being obedient to God is not always the easy road, especially living in the world. You have to make choices that are not popular and, in some cases, will cause you to lose relationships. But when you follow God, you will be in the best possible place you can be in, under the protection, grace and love of God. You will never go wrong following God albeit, Satan will try to convince otherwise. Be strong in your faith and obedience to always answer God’s call doing the best you can to serve God and let God do the rest for you.
How long has Jesus been calling you? Are you listening to the call? Are you afraid of what Go is asking you to do with Him? Are you so steeped in the world that you cannot see yourself following Jesus, giving your whole life to Him and living the rest of your days serving Him?
