Been spending too much time thinking about those older days
It’s fun to visit but that’s not a place I wanna stay
And I got the day job cuz the bills don’t stop
That’s just a filler while I'm waiting for this thing to pop
Not tryna be the best just tryna do my best
The thought this might be it for me is tough to digest
I’ll just sit here at the edge of greatness I guess
Try to battle my pride and put it all to rest

At the end of the day my family is healthy and, well

There’s nothing on earth that could mean more to me in this life

Try to count my blessings
I just don't know where do I begin

Thinkin about where I came from and my life so far
It’s feels good but it also feels subpar
On one hand I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished
On the other it feels like I haven’t even started
The thing about life is you only get one
There’s gotta be more to the dash than just having fun
