WHICH WAY DOES #2 MAN GO IN CQB?

Does the #2man always go opposite direction at the #1 man?

We took a poll on this the other day and the results surprised me. 40% said yes and 60% said no or it depends.

On this topic we are on the “it depends” side of the house.

For our open enrollment & private CQB classes we teach concepts over hard rules. Whether it’s solo or a 4 man team we want every person to be able to think and make decisions at a moments notice. Having a predetermined script such as #2 man always goes the opposite direction can put your team in a very precarious situation.

We arm the TCTS family with the knowledge behind the “why” and let them make the decisions with the information they gather as they enter a new space.

This is a thinking man’s game.

Excited to see y’all’s comments on this video & topic. As we always say there are no wrong questions or comments to pose. Always keep an open mind especially when it comes to circumstances such as this.

Let’s hear it!

Recent Reviews from our CQB training…
- The guys at Tactical Cowboy really know their stuff. I completed my first CQB course with them and it was extremely well thought out and structured in a way for you to gain a firm understanding of the fundamentals before jumping right into scenarios. I felt everything we learned was cutting edge which makes it great for beginners and experienced individuals. Highly recommend their training to anyone.
- I’ve attended a few of tactical cowboy’s training courses recently and couldn’t have asked for a better environment! From the direction and training to the personable feel these guys are second to none. They have pushed my limits on all fronts and make it seem effortless. I would recommend any caliber marksman come and train with them and i guarantee you will take a wealth of knowledge away with it.
