Reboot in The Nuts

Reboot, remake, remaster... What exactly do these titles mean? Is it a cash grab? I think it's a cash grab.

Or could they be an opportunity for companies to get things exactly right, exactly the way they wanted but couldn't manage before?

Skyrim is a prime example, Bethesda released that game 17 times since 2011. Excessive. But hey! People are buying these things.
