Live: Anti-government protesters rally in Tel Aviv

SGN is live from Tel Aviv on Saturday, March 18, for a demonstration against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s administration and its planned judicial reforms.

It marks the 11th consecutive week of protests over the changes, announced in January by new Justice Minister Yariv Levin, which give lawmakers increased powers over the Supreme Court and the appointment of judges.

Netanyahu himself has said that the plans give 'the right balance between the three branches' of government; the legislative, executive, and judiciary.

On Wednesday, President Isaac Herzog released a compromise proposal and warned in his statement of a real possibility of bloodshed and 'civil war', although Netanyahu immediately rejected his plan.
